Problems with Autotune, please help...

Hi, trying to get autotune up and going. Bought one copy of autotune 3 and installed it and used the 10 day trial period until it expired. Now I reinstalled it and authorized it on the site getting the response for the challenge question. When I got to answer the challenge question opun opening up ProTools it tells me that the response is incorrect. Went on the antares site and one thing they said is to disable FileVault which was already disabled on my computer... It has already been installed on another one of the studio computers but, autotune 3 doesnt need the ilok to my knowledge. If it does can I just swap out my iloks and get it working like that. Anyother advice would help... have to G5's running HD3 Accell

I have AutoTune 3, and it used iLok, so you should be able to do it like you said with your iLok. If NOT, and yours just does need thar C/R,, REMEMBER to NOT use the Challenge from the window that pops up with a challenge when you launch the plug in,,, BUT RATHER use the challenge that comes up when you go to the "authorization folder" and launch the "authorization" app.. Then it should all work.. But to be honest, I really think it takes an iLok.. What does the manual say ??? Hope This Helps --

None of the Antares plug-ins work with iLok. They are all challenge and response. The authorization code is tied to a specific computer, so if you authorized the plug-in on one computer, the same code cannot be used to authorize the plug-in on another computer. It's been a while, but I upgraded my computer from a G4 to a G5 and I had to get new codes for each of my Antares plug-ins. I'm pretty sure that I sent them an email with all of my registration codes and they provided a new authorization code for each plug-in. Write their tech support. The most current version of Autotune is 4, so if you just bought version 3, you might want to see if you can't get a free upgrade.
