x.264, only 50% CPU load

x.264 with megui is not using the two cores at max, it uses just 50 % of each core... is this a bug in x.264? (I did it with 2 and with 1 thread in options, no change) Is there a solution ? TIA

are you using multithreaded avisynth?

do you have megui automatically setting the number of threads in the settings?

multithreaded avisynth? ... never heard of that, I will look for it, but maybe someone can pointing me in the right direction. mhh found MT (MultiThreading in avisynth) version 0.5. Contains MT and a modified multithreaded version of avisynth 2.5.6 that seem to be a solution, but if it is not, please post a direct link, I hope it wil work straightforward TIA ouch it is not straight forward, at least not for a avisynth noob, to bad... if I don't use deinterlacer and denoicer, so I really dont need avisynth, maybe it is becoming faster? lets see what stax is doing...
