Enable Media Explorer 'Filter' to search sub-directories.

Hi... Have searched Forums, cannot find similar question/request, so.. Is it possible to enable/customise Media Explorer to automatically also search all sub-directories of a selected directory when using the 'Filter' field please? I have 60 or so gigabytes of sound effects in multiple directories (named after their original libraries), all residing in a master directory called, not surprisingly, SFX. When I'm searching - as an example - 'crowd', I would like all sfx track titles with that word to show up, not just those within the original directory. Currently, I have to open each sub-directory individually to search. What I'm requesting is a standard Windows search feature, and this is currently how I search sfx, as I can drag-and-drop into Reaper. But I would like this feature incorporated into Reaper, so I could also preview the sfx before importing. Many thanks.

I completely agree with you. This is the one thing that makes post work a real hassle at the moment. Surely a search function (incl sub folders) couldn't be too hard to implement (even a basic search for file name only like in Windows Search, excluding meta data would be fine). +1 on a FR for this.
