help needed - using joystick as midi controller

i found that when i tried it like you i got the assignment but some functions were a bit weird. buttons only turning things on, and analog stick movements not working. to determine the problem try something like rejoice which i have used before, with some virtual midi ports of course. ok its not native but if it does the trick.. you then know to ask devs to look into if there is a problem.

Same problem here, looks like a bug to me.

i didn't realise this is a newly introduced feature in version 3. so yes, probably it's a bug.
