I don't think this is a Gknot question, but this has happened both with Xmpeg and Gknot now. Basically, I followed the guide to make a movie...movie looks great...audio is fine etc etc. When I play it back it's fine until every so often when the video and audio re-synch itself causing it to skip ahead ever so slightly, but definately noticeable. It is as if it were temporarily fast-forwarded then resumes normal playback. I have watched the same movie on another computer and it doesn't do that. What is on my system that is going wrong? I only have DivX 5.0.2 pro (adware). I used to have ffdshow, but I uninstalled it and have none of the divx advanced settings ticked or slid (slider). Has this happened to anyone else, or know of a way I can remedy this problem? thanks, chip

What are you using to watch the video? Try using media player v6.4 Mac

Does this happen only on this one video or on everyone you watch? Does it only happen when watching divx 5.02 content or on any codec? Have you tried to re-install the codec? Just a few questions. Mac

I haven't tried it with another codec primarily because DivX is the best and i have no use for another, besides testing purposes. No, I have not tried to re-install DivX codec...I'll try that. The re-synching happens with videos that didn't used to do it before. I dont' know what I did to my system to trigger this response from watching the videos. Chip

I imagine that you either changed something or installed some new driver or software that changed something. Try re-installing the codec and possible your audio codec (such as ac3) and see if that helps. Mac
