b8 bsod looks like a driver error. up to date with all drivers?

I had similar issues when opening projects. A full round of updates fixed it. Windows update, driver update, and I even did a bios update. Works like a charm now without a single crash or issue. Keep in mind that with windows update they're starting to include a lot of BS you have to weed through and if you don't know what you're doing with your bios, you can cripple your computer.

Check all my drivers were upto date, then started un-installing cards picking the oldest first:- my Yamaha SW1000XG card(last driver released in 2002 ~I believe). And all seems tobe ok now :-) this is a bit Sad :-( as I like the sounds on my XG card, always brings back memories, still got my db50xg card sat in a drawer! anyone got an old PC I can chuck these in? I'm shure I've got the win98 drivers :-) pretty please see if you can find out as why this has only happend on 3.02+ software release Pete
