Loop menu in Maestro

Has anybody ever done loop menu's in Maestro and got them to work. So far this is my only stumbling block in this program. I have just done a test video with a small animated video for menu, placed the slider halfway across for the loop point and compiled. When viewed with a software DVD player the menu plays till the end and then automatically starts the video, which is exactly what I got with my full featured project. Are there any settings anywhere else that control this feature?. Please help as I really dont want to give up on this feature and I cant see anything else to adjust. If I chose the timeout option, everything works fine! I'm using XP and 2.9 final, if that makes any difference.....

have u checked the 'loop' button after setting the slider middle way through, or is it left at timeout?

The loop button is checked and I compile and thats when the menus play followed by the movie, if I uncheck loop and select timeout (all other settings remain the same) and recompile, then those menu's behave perfectly according to the timeout options. Its only when I select loop that they misbehave....:mad:
