Best Drum Mic Kit?

go with the Audix i got the Audix Fusion kit the overheads are nice but i dont use the overheads anymore cuz i got new mics then i dont use the kick drum mic in the pack cuz i got a Beta 52 i still use the Tom mics though there not that bad. but there not the greatest i've gotten some good sounds with them the biggest thing is to make sure the tom sounds good now that i dont use the F12 on the kick i end up putting the F12 on the Floor tom and then the F10s on all the other toms but even if u get this kit still get a Shure SM57 for the snare i was looking at the Audix and Shure kits before i bought the Audix... i was talking to my teacher who is amazing and he told me to go with the Audix cuz the Shure mics werent really good at all for Toms and I am really happy with my choice now i am just saving up for MD421s for the Toms then after that i will save up for KM184s for overheads but the Audix will deffinatly get you by until u decide to upgrade

damn you work/intern at that studio? thats a dream come true. are you in college? give me some info...

yeah i go to college its just a comunity college im not even a recording major lol but im gonna be switching over to the recording major next semester when i finish my degree now then im gonna intern there (he'll let me, cuz he's the man) and my guitar player works at that studio now
