Hello, I was searching for a way how to set up cursor behaviour like I had in Cubase or Logic. I found few threads on this topic but they are years old. So I was wondering if there is some progress in Reaper. I love Reaper, it`s incredible DAW, but one thing I found a bit uncomfortable is the play cursor behaviour. So my question is: Is there a way to set up cursor behaviour like I know from Cubase and other DAWs? I would like to have this option: If I press stop once, the cursor stops at the last position - like pause. If I press stop second time cursor will go back to the original position. Any suggestion?
Thank you so much. I have found exactly what I needed though your previous posts are too much science for me. But after a playing with settings I got the cursor behaviour exactly like in Cubase. See my screenshot below
Edit: The second action called "pause stop", it`s my custom action (transport: pause, transport: stop) I have also different key for play and different for stop Edit 2: There is a small problem with my settings. When I press stop once it stops in the current position, when I press twice it goes to the the previous position. This is just perfect. The problem is when I press stop once and then I just want to continue and I press play then when I press stop it does not stop I have to press it twice to make it stop.
