Still not perfect. Last night it seems to work perfectly but I just found out that if I press stop only once and then play then I have to press stop twice to make cursor stop.
My action (with the marker) works as it's supposed to. But you have to create/move the marker beforehand ) It's easier to use that one: — and just click twice, isn't it?
I still have the issue. Will try to explain one more. Hope you will get me. I assigned Enter key for Play, 0 key for stop [same as in Cubase] Enter key - cursor is moving 0 key [pressed once] - cursor has stopped 0 key [pressed second time] - cursor has gone to the previous position But now I press: Enter - cursor is moving 0 key [pressed once] - cursor has stopped [now I don't want to go back to the previous position] So I press: Enter key - cursor is moving 0 key [once] - nothing happen 0 key [twice] - cursor has stopped 0 key [third] cursor has gone to the previous position that I have to press stop key twice to force it stop.
Good grief- all that gafuffle for something I would have thought would be a default behaviour- at least if I undertood the question correctly. I think I have the same problem: I record a bit of audio and stop. The cursor reverts to the beginning of the recently recorded media instead of just staying where it is - at the end of the item, ready to continue recording from that point. :)
just stumbled upon the preference "Editing behavior: Move edit cursor to end of recorded items on record stop" seems to be the thing oldbrownhat was wanting.
