001 and other software??? anyone tried it yet?

the direct i/o drivers are supposed to be supported by programs like peak and cubase for instance. anyone out there tried em to find out if it really works? mebbe some sales guy at the music store who is bored can tell us how well it really works for those of us with only one available slot left for the audio card which must therefore work with all other software as well. just wondered since asio wasn't implemented, how is the sound, latency, and integration with other software??any real world answers welcome, i know it is supposed to work. ferris...ferris...anyone????

The 001 comes with Direct I/O drivers for the software that supports that interface, and there is also a Direct i/o OMS driver, and a DIO Sound Manager driver, so any app that can use these can use the 001. -Paul Vercellotti Digi Eng.
