You need the "Wave" driver not the ASIO for WinAmp and other multimedia apps as WinXP is not an ASIO client/host. I do not know this first hand, but I have seen on the DUC that a lot of little problems seem to pop up when using the Wave or ASIO drivers for the Digi001. I do not use these drivers and have a very stable PT setup. YMMV and good luck.

Hello, The wave driver will allow you to use the 001 as your preffered playback device. The ASIO driver will allow you to use the 001 with other audio apps that support ASIO. However, you can not have both the ASIO driver and the Wave driver installed at the same time. This is a current limitation of the drivers. In your case I would remove the ASIO driver and install the Wave driver. The ASIO driver can be removed from Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. You can download the Wave driver here: I hope this helps. Mike
