convert a PAL DVD into NTSC

acutally, this thread is an encoding problem, not authoring, so ill leave it here. but yes you'll need to do it manually, as Yusaku said, but a more 'automated way' would be to use a program like ProCoder that will convert PAL to NTSC for you then just a reauthor is needed. Enf...

Er... I don't understand : "And if source is interlaced, then you're simply screwed. Without blending fields you have no chance..." It seems to me a bit strange that interlaced ntsc mpg2 wouldn't be converted into pal. I smell some framerate probe but...if u have the correct tools to edit the files and process them, where is the "you're screwed" factor? whatever it is it's nothing but video.... I guess i need a bit of light on this, could you be more accurate on that? A+ BeN

I cannot tell you much about interlaced dvd pal, you will have to search a little about that.. But you can read my guide I have made for DVD-9 PAL to DVD-5 NTSC : There is too another way to convert your audio. Read this thread : MvB as reply with an attached file somewhere... just use those files and follow the instructions... A note about wavefix.exe... your filename must be equal or smaller than 8 caracters, if not, it won't work
