I have at least five systems with cordless mice. (All different makes too.)None has any sofware installed and each works perfectly. Never a problem apart from low batteries. So what do you want mouse software for - its interfering with the communication. Cheers ;)

I have a Logitech VX Revolution which is the laptop version of the MX Revolution, and I love it. In the times I've tried Reaper, it's never given me any noticeable issues. There is some third party software available to tweak settings that is based on the Logitech software and gives you more wheel options. Also, this mouse is a laser mouse. Far superior to optical, IMO. Works on virtually any surface and is more accurate and doesn't rely on reflections. It's the second laser mouse I have had, and I could never go back to optical. So google for the third party utility. It looks and feels like the Setpoint software, but has more options. Brent
