Media Explorer rex preview

Hello everyone, Im new here.At the Moment i use FL Studio,maybe Reaper in the Future :-). Runs very stable here. I try Reaper a Week and i find it`s a great Sequencer.Fl too,but it`s a pattern Sequencer,i don`t like this so much.Linear ist the best for me. Now i have a problem with the Media Explorer. Wenn i preview a Rex File at Project Tempo 170 BPM,the Rex file play the half speed.Wenn i drop it into the Sequencer it plays normaly. The Rex files has the speed of 170.In Fl Sudio Browser preview,it plays original (170 BPM). Is this a bug?Or my fault,or the Prefences?? Can somebody help me?? This site will ship them internationally: =============== I think that Reaper assumes that the loop length is 2 or 4 bars to determine the BPM - so if it's 1 bar then the BPM (playback rate) will be halved. What length is the loop? Can you try some other loops?

Hello DarkStar, thank you for the Links and your help :-) I think i found the problem. The Rex Files who has 100% Stretch (i saw this in recycle),plays the half speed. I save different (1,2,3 or 4 Bars)Rex Files without Stretch,the Media Explorer plays the Original Tempo. When i save this with 20% Stretch,the rex file becomes slowly in Media Explorer. The Wav Samples are all fine,only all rex files causes problems. Regards Jazzz

Yes, I have seen this problem too. It's a pain when you have rex libraries. I end up dragging them into the project just to preview them. The media explorer needs some love. the long time request of a seek bar for audio files would be very nice. I never use the explorer when trying to find a vocal take as there is no way to get through the audio file without listening to the whole thing.
