How about separate marker lanes, so you don't have to have all your time sig markers and general markers sharing the same space?

+1 and stick em in the wasted master track space as it does bog all at the moment!

I think the way that the master track is currently displayed in the TCP is not good. It should *not* be able to scroll out of view. However it is displayed, it should persist. If I am editing track 99, I may want to see the master: I currently have to display master track in tcp, sctoll all the way up, and then then I'm done find track 99 again. The master track, if its going to be horizontal, should stay visible wherever I am scrolled.

Yeah, that's a good idea. On the topic of separate marker tracks, us post production folks could really use them. Scene markers, problem markers, FX spotting markers, ADR in/out markers, foley cue markers. Alternating colour scheme. Click on the marker track to make it the one to receive new markers, and off you go. Maybe even some 'Add marker to marker track x'-type of actions. Visible, not-visible, like a track list. Yes we could use that indeed. A small step towards Reaper being incredibly useful. Already I can see Reaper being great for foley and ADR cues, because of its empty item, item notes and item punch-in recording.
