Where is the air intake

Living in Oxfordshire, given the current weather, I thought it would be a good idea to find out where the engine air intake is on my 1998 model V70 2.2 10v. I've seen the wide pipe that leads to the side of the top of the radiator but can't see where it goes from there. Can anybody tell me how low the intake is (and where it is) before I find out the hard way. Thanks.

That's it really. The air comes in from the top of the radiator.

Don't intend to do sub-aqua 

Thanks for the warning but I wasn't intending to do sub-aqua! I just wanted to make sure the air intake wasn't just a couple of inches off the ground. I remember that a few years ago there was a spate of wrecked engines (on diesel Renault Epaces, I think) caused by water induction when going through what were basically big puddles.
