I had An adat bridge24 hooked up to a MIX core and needed to swap to an Apogee AD8000 When I removed the adat beidge from the y cable and connected the AD8000 protools started up saying "hardware not connected, check if on and connected and retry" Retry and nothing happens Cancel and PT quits I have no way to acces hardware setup. I tried removing all preferences, but nothing I tried pressing N while launching PT and I got "Playback engine setup" Any shortcut during launch to get Hardware setup at startup? Do you have any clues???? Thanks so much in advance MACG4 dual 1.25 OS 10 3 9 Protools TDM 6.4.1

You should only need to throw away the digisetup.osx preference file, empty your trash, and restart the machine. Next time you launch PT, it should prompt you to identify your hardware in the Playback Engine setup dialog. Make sure you select 888/24 in the place where the Apogee is connected.
