Hi there, I am using Reaper on OSX and so far so good...until now. I am currently unable to get it going. On start up it tries to load the previous project but crashes before plugins are loaded. How can I get it to start without loading the previous project? thanks, rwa

It should work to hold down shift while opening Reaper (forces it to FX-offline recovery mode).

Thanks for the reply Schwa. That didn't work. Same loading procedure. I also tried apple-shift open. rwa

Hi Schwa, I got it to open the ctl-shift way. Strange why the shift way didn't work. Thanks. rwa

Oops, we'll fix the shift-open for 3.11. As a desperate fallback you can always do something a bit grisly: open /users/<you>/Library/Application Support/REAPER/reaper.ini, remove the line "lastproject=badprojectname", save it, and open Reaper.
