I've tried encoding 2 movies (October Sky and Spiderman) using Autodub 1.6.5 with update patch and Koepi's 21/11/02 build with B-frames. Aimed for 700MB but both movies turned out to be around 20MB-30MB undersized. Using Autodub's Generic 1CD profile settings except for turning off QPel. What might be the problem? Thanks.
I think there was a problem with AltCC and predicted size, which has been corrected by Foxer in the new build. Try to update to Koepi's 03122002 or Umaniac's 29112002.

hi, i was agree too. i will try to add the support of the new xvid build as soon as umanic will update the daily source code. (i need the config.h file for the codec paramaters). Bye.
updated to koepi's 03/12/02 build and encoded the matrix. its even worse. using auto-dub's generic 1cd profile, the file remains undersize and for some strange reason, when playing full screen in windows media player 6.4, the movie plays for a few seconds, then skips back a few seconds, then continues for a few more seconds, then skips back a few more seconds again. when it skips back, there are some error blocks. the situation is something like a scratched cd, if you know what i mean. :)
avoid to use some unsupported version of the xvid build. in fact autodub use the parameters of the codec and launch vdub using theses parameters, but in the new build the list of the parameters change and this could crash your encode if u use and xvid build that was not already supported by autodub. PS: try to use "default settings" for the xvid codec (this will disable altCC option) and use the koepi 24/11/02 build. Bye.
Hi I have a question about aspect ratio with AutoDub and AutoRV9. For UHF, 16:9, with crop: DVD2AVI 1.82 : 720x336 AutoDub 1.6.5: 720x368 Witch one must I trust? DVD2AVI seems more natural. Any suggestion? [Edit] AutoDub has the right ratio.
