Hey guys, I was wondering if someone has ever had a similar issue. A client who has Nuendo [latest version] on their XP system is running a session at 48 24. We exported 3 files as individual tracks and burned them using Nero to a cd as DATA. Upon importing them into a OSX 10.3 PT 7.1 [cs unknown] session at 48 24, it gives us both options of adding and converting. *files copied to the drive first from the disc]. Conversion allows the files in correctly, where adding seems to add them at 44.1 24. On a previous attempt, conversion put them in at 44.1 when the files were exported using the 'export as stereo files' option in Nuendo and then burned. So lost. Is there something funky going on with the header file. They're all BWAVs as well. THanks!

maybe you're working on a 44.1/24 PT session.

you're sure of your project's bit depth and sample rate? because if PT converted them to 44.1/24 in a 48kHz project, it wouldn't open or play correctly. i import BWF's from Cubase on a regular basis and have not experienced this problem. using mono or split-mono stereo tracks, you should be able to add the files without conversion (by reference).. if you can't this would indicate that your session file believes it's a different bit depth. jeff

Thanks for the reply. I tried importing them on a 7.2 session and they worked fine adding and converting. M
