Have dig got the 001 users more busses?

Im just wondering if our friends at digi enabled the digi 001 useres with more busses yet! I know they only wanted us to have 16 but another 16 or even 8 more would help soooooooo much! If anyone knows any sulution to this please let us know... Thankyou..

The 001 has a max i/o of 18: 8 analog, 8 digital via Lightpipe and 2 digital via SPDIF. that's it, no more. You'll need to go to a more expensive pt system to get mroe i/o, Mix+, TDM, HD, etc. Hope this is helpful.

Digi can make it possible to have more than 16 busses if they wanted. The LE version is crippled. I would love more busses. 32 would be great!

I'll second you on that one. I got into my first real mixing situation with an ambitious band project, and I'm maxed out as I used 4 stereo busses for overall effects (hall rvrb / plate rvrb / delay / chorus) and I only have 4 stereo or 8 mono busses to create sub-mixing groups that I can assign effects and volume automation to. This is a pretty bad limitation at this point. Oh well, I'm nor holding my breath, I'll work around it instead, but ... it would be nice to have an extra 8 or 16 as you said. I mean, 32 audio tracks, you'll figure there should be at least that many busses.
