renault vs volvo

just seen this and u can tell they have cut chasie to make the volvo come of worse so u will buy a renault god why cant we have a show that shows what realy hapends + ERROR: If you can see this, then is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Could you provide a screen shot or an explanation to back up your theory of cut chassis rails?

what a load of carp, id still rather be in my 945. the renault spun round to face the opposite way whereas the Volvo didnt and the renault sits higher up than the Volvo as well so the bumper wouldnt hit the bumper of the Volvo, thats why it pushed the wing of the Volvo back so much. besides, which car will still be in 1 piece in 15 years time? (if they didnt smash them up) regards cavey

I would be interested as well. It doesn't look too good for the volvo to be honest. If you think about where the main masses of engine are the main bit of the Volvo is in the middle and the renault is probably on the right hand side. On impact the Renault probably missed the volvo engine and only cam to something solid when it go to the A post. The Renault is probably all engine in the same area. The impact would be spread a lot more across the front of the car. If the impact was head on I think it would be a completely different story though.

Would like to see the chassis being cut. I did not see anything. Still I would feel safer in the Volvo.
