Hi. I came across a Reaper bug today which I can't see reported anywhere else... Create a MIDI clip and add a single note. Set its velocity to 1. Call up the Note Properties dialog (CTRL-F2 on my setup), and in the "Velocity" section type in "/3". This should reduce the velocity to 0, but in fact the velocity ends up as 127. This appears to happen every time the rounded value of the division results in 0. Seen on Reaper 3.52, Windows XP Pro SP3

Hi Kanga and welcome to the forums! Ending up with 127 is surely not right, but ending up with 0 wouldn't be either, because this would be a note-off for that note. Who wants to do that? A note-off without a prior note-on makes no sense at all. However, maybe worth putting it in the tracker. -Data

Hi Mr Data, I've been lurking for some time now, thought I'd make my small contribution! Have now raised this in the tracker with a suggestion that the velocity be set to 1. Kanga
