MainConcept MPEG Encoder 1.1 StandAlone

Certainly something to look into. I'll try it out and do a few tests, some others should as well. If all proves well, I think it would be a great addition to the next version of D2S. If the quality is all they say it is, then many users will be equally glad at the relatively small $149 price tag. Any thoughts on supporting this encoder DVD2SVCD?

read the news Sep 27th entitled "Panasonic MPEG2 Encoder out"...there's links to a full review of the new encoders. btw I just bought that new sony dvd burner...I will not stop using dvd2svcd at all. Still be making svcds till the day I die.

I was so tempted to get that Sony DVD burner last weekend when it was $250 shipped at Dell. I just bought a new projector so I couldn't justify it. Mark
