ASIO for Mbox2 ad Reaper?

I have Reaper v3.63 installed on Windows XP. I wanted to use the mbox and downloaded the Digidesign Audio Drivers 7.0 from here: I go to preferences, Device, ASIO as the audio system, then select asio digidesign driver, but it has no inputs for me. I can't hear anything either. In Reason 4.0, the driver shows up with a red X, which leads me to believe it is the driver itself, and I've tried reinstalling everything anyway. My system is 32 bit, and I have no clue what to do next. Audio USB didn't work for me either. Finally, the Mbox 2 works okay on my shideee ibook from the stone age. Does anyone have this setup working with another set of drivers, or does this look like another issue? From what I've read the digi drivers really blow, but like I said, the Ploytec USB audio didn't seem to help either... Thank 'yall in advance for the help! I use an M-Box 2 Mini(same drivers) and my ASIO preferences are identical to yours. I have never had any problems with it. Maybe someone else can help. I just searched aroud the web for a while and could not find any useful info.

Zoid9 - I just read your post a bit ago, and it gave me hope! Enough that I uninstalled both the digidesign driver and reaper, then reinstalled. Still, nothing to select from with mono or stereo. I then thought of arming to record, and then over the meter where you typically click to select the input, I clicked and the options all came up just fine. I'm not sure why I never had to do this before I reinstalled XP, but that's what got this to work! Also, the little "[audio device closed]" thing in the upper right now displays my settings, as long as its in the record mode. Thanks!
