Hi there, I am sorry if this is a common issue but i need some answers. The size of the dvd i copied was supposed to be 4.3gb but it ended to be lower than 4gb. I increased the quality of the main title to a estimated DVD size of 4.6gb and the resulting dvd was 4.25gb. Do i have to manually increase the quality of the main title on order to be as close as possible to the 4.3gb limit ? Do i have to run IC twice in order to know how much i can inrease the main title quality ? TIA [/\/\]

MisterX: I was reading your guide today and find it very informative. Thank you. I have a question about the "Getting Better Filesizes" method you describe here: In it you describe a solution to size guessing with IC: if you end up over 4.37, find an extra or something to pare down, then re-run IC using the original files, setting everything to 100% except that which you want to make smaller. This, to me, sounds like a great method. But it brings to mind a question: Why not run this process on your new files instead of the originals? It seems to me that this would accomplish what you need without having to use IFOEdit to put everything back together.
