MisterX: I was reading your guide today and find it very informative. Thank you. I have a question about the "Getting Better Filesizes" method you describe here: In it you describe a solution to size guessing with IC: if you end up over 4.37, find an extra or something to pare down, then re-run IC using the original files, setting everything to 100% except that which you want to make smaller. This, to me, sounds like a great method. But it brings to mind a question: Why not run this process on your new files instead of the originals? It seems to me that this would accomplish what you need without having to use IFOEdit to put everything back together.
