Point me in the right direction

OK, I've been playing with REAPER for a while. Now I want to get serious. I would like to buy A Comp that can do what we all want. Please don't tell me about parts. I've read all about that on the forum. Just point to the Guy's that can send me a out of the box blowtorch. Around about $1000US or not. E.
