Is there a way, either built-in or by using any of the wonderful extensions provided by SWS or Xenakios, to run an action when a track finishes playing? I'd like to load a bunch of songs (separate tracks) into Reaper and have it play one at a time. A custom action would un-solo the current track when it's done playing, go to the next track, solo it, rewind to beginning and commence playing.

I would love this for another reason: with this function I can transform Reaper into a mediaplayer with an active cross-over for my loudspeakersystem!

unox, you could use FOOBAR, set its audio outputs to rearoute, create a track for foobar in reaper, and fx/route as you like. reaper is an integral part of my daw's routing structure. my turntable won't make any noise without reaper being on.

Not that it's the best way of doing this probably and not sure why you want to but... you need sws extensions but you could place a marker at the end of the track and assign it the code for a custom action to go to the next track and start it again (see markers section of sws website). You could even get it to move the marker to the beginning of the next track so it will repeat the motion again. You know if you drag lots of tracks on to one track you can have them placed one after the other and you can even have one key to loop them all as a custom action? ;)

You could use the ReaPlaylister plugin that reaper radio runs on
