Hi! How do I make sense of Reapers jungle of pitch/time-stretching algorithms? Thanks!

So, maybe something like "Elastique 2.1 Efficient, synchronized: Normal" as default setting, and then some changes when needed?

Kinda, yeah. If something sounds glitchy when stretched, it's time to modify some parameters :D

The slower DIRAC algos are usually superior. But really cpu-intensive... so just glue when it's right. Similar method to mixing with Nebula. :)

Especially pay attention to the Elastique formant variations. That can make a world of difference from good to just awful. For example, I have to pitch shift a Journey tune a while back for a band to learn in a different key. First try was chipmunky (yeah, they wanted it higher, go figure) but scrolling through the formant choices found a winner.
