If it integrates with Reaper YES! If a separate program with no integration then NO! Seriously, you can rename the keys in the piano roll already! I am thinking it cant be That hard to add this type of thing right? Has to be a lot easier than adding PIP..? which I have no use for. Different strokes for different folks right? 19 people want this and the others dont care about it.

Now adding Notation would be way too big of a request I think. That would obviously take too much time away from other improvements. Who knows maybe they will see this thread and look into adding some sort of text screen like this and know that it wouldnt take much at all to implement it. Think about how nice it would be to be able to type in track notes that line up with the timeline in a separate screen. Lyrics-chords Anything! Like where you can View the piano roll/named notes and event list. just add a text view to this that would line up with the project timeline based on the grid or whatever. I think this is a Great idea. Then when you are recording/playback each bar lights up and scrolls along with the project or whatever. Not just for chords and lyrics. maybe patch changes you want to list or list something like "guitar solo" on bar 33 or whatever.

I think this would be really useful - a chord track or even scale track. And if you could make that to control some midi track plug, quantizing the note to play only the note in that chord. By that you can quickly make a riff and then transpose it to different scales/chord. I guess the plug can be written today in JS but there's no chord/scale track to control it... You have this is in Temper by but Reaper is a so much more mature DAW and now with the scripts comming up, there's infinit possible cool stuff that can be done - but the chord/scale MASTER track is missing!
