If you plug your 002 into a system running an older version of Pro Tools you'll be prompted to upload the firmware to match the version of Pro Tools running -- like for example on my PC I have 6.1.1 and I uploaded he firmware for 6.1.1 into my 002... if I now take my 002 and plug it into my old Mac PowerBook running 5.3.2 I'm prompted to upload the firmware.. so I do. When I go back to 6.1.1 on the PC I upload it again. As has been mentioned running the wrong (mismatched) firmware version may work okay.. but I wouldn't recommend it. Rail
Ok, I get it! Really appreciate your help! I will try to update tomorrow as it is getting kinda late here in Sweden, gotta get my beatysleep! Once again, thank you!
