Thanx rocktron Right now I have come to a grinding halt due to the fact that the mobo I got came with an old bios that doesn't recognize my dual core CPU and gives me a CMOS checksum error sayng the CPU isn't recognized by the bios...I know, it's a simple thing to flash a bios, but the strange thing is that it won't let me enter the bios to change the boot sequence and tell it to start from the floppy...pretty strange. I think I'll have to install an older 939 processor, have the board recognize it, flash the bios to 1015 version and put the dual core back in...annoying and since I don't have an older 939 CPU handy I'll have to bring the box to a technician...lucky enough I still have my older system up and running so I can keep working; I'll do the swap of the video card and other drives once the dual core sytem is fully working (I jsu bought another drive to install the OS so that I can keep my existing boot drive on the older Athlon XP machine...). Any ideas about this issue? Thank L.G.

Well...I didn't know about that command, as the manual just says to press "del" on boot up; I tried F1, Esc and every other thing that could come to mind, but without usccess; I started to think the installed bios is corrupted, so I just brought the box to servicing and I'll have it back (hopefully fixed and ready to be completed) in a few days. Meanwhile I'm working with my oled setup, but it' slowed down to a crawl with the sessions I'm doing right now... Thanx L.G.
I had big problems with the A8V deluxe Bios. I too was in need of dual core support and couldn't flash the bios from a floppy so I used the Asus Windows Flash utility. It sadly corrupted my Bios so I couldn't boot again (in fact it didn't do anything anymore) I sent it to a company that's specialised in recovering bios chips and they fixed it pretty fast, so luckily it didn't hold me up that long.
