Setting a midi message to be sent ( from Reaper to Maschine)

Hi, I usually never use midi on Reaper and this is certainly my first time, so please apologize if I am asking something obvious. I need to have Reaper send a certain program change message at a certain point on the timegrid. It will be used to tell Maschine to change to specific scenes during the song. I need to put 5 or 6 of these commands. I need to be able to set: which is the midi channel these commands are sent to which is the program change command number when on the time grid each command must be sent Thank you for your help ! Insert a new track and set it to the relevant midi hardware out port in 'io'. Next make a time selection in the arranger window, then from the menu: insert -> new midi item. Double click the newly made midi item to open it. In the roll-down window bottom left, choose bank/program select. Then double-click in the grid (lower) to set the value in the dialog box that opens. Voila.
