Hello everibody!! My name is Luca, writing in this forum for the first time, so... Nice to meet you all!! I've got a 1999 V70 2.5 diesel estate VOLVO and here is my problem: one day, without doing anything special, I turn on my VOLVO and notice a couple of things: the SRS light doesn't go off and the seat belt light is still flashing, even whit the belts fastned!! Ok, I turn off the engine, FIRST lock my seatbelt and THEN turn on the engine... Well the seat belt light dasn't blink (even if I unlock the seatbelt), but the SRS light is still on!! :( Reading your forum, It seems to me that I have no alternatives: my VOLVO dealer is waiting for me to reset my light... ...but in different forums I've read about wiring connections faults, like those under the seats and those brushing contacts inside the steering weel. My VOLVO dealer said to me that the VADIS software connected to my car said "error code 112" that shoud be a "ECU internal fault": sound so strange to me.... If I should fix any wiring/connector problem, do I'll need anyway to reset te SRS light? Or, having the elctrical problem fixed, will it go off by itself?? Do anybody of you had the same problem? Ending: what kind of commercial instrument (excluding the official VOLVO's assistance) is able to reset the SRS light and where I can find it? Thank you all for your advise, Luca (Rome, Italy) ps: happy new year!!! :huepfen024:
