Haven't yet tried it. Anybody who has tried it - how does it compare to the good free reverbs - Epic Verb (bootsy), KarmaFX etc? Is the difference (if there's any :))worth the price? Best is to try myself, but just to get a sneak review... I hope they do something with the GUI eventually.

Today I spent a couple of hours running this thing through some stuff that normally would make even the best native plugs sound like total crap, ie; long delays on ambient washes, huge drums (kodo type stuff) and I'm really impressed. So far I'd say this is the best native verb I've tried. The sheer amount of interesting and unusual presets make it worth the price at this point. I'm in.

OK guys! Here's the 411 on the Aether GB BYOB Party: The party will start April 30th 11pm Pacific Daylight Time (PDT, UTC-7 hours). Roughly 2 and a half hours from this post. I have set up a live chat room with meebo. It is text based and doesn't require an account or anything. As long as flash is enabled, all you need to do is click on the link below and you can start chatting. I have also created a blip.fm playlist for the party if you want to listen to some tunes as we usher in the end of the GB. This is of course optional and you can choose to listen to your own tunes on your end. I have also tried to choose a wide range of styles and you can skip ahead if you don't like a particular song. You are encouraged to bring your beverage of choice and to come hang out and celebrate the end of a wonderful GB. The mood for this party should be fun and lighthearted. Although the celebration of this great GB is our focus, we don't only need to keep to that topic either. It would be great if you joined us too Andrew. It would be great to hang out with the man who made this GB possible. :D So... Here are the links: Live chat room: url removed Superfly76's blip playlist: Again, it will start at 11pm Pacific Standard time. Feel free to spread the word on other forums where people have signed up for the GB as well! Chances are that most people are not in the PDT region and will need to convert the time to their time zone. If you are like me, this can be a real pain. Here's a link to a time converter that I use: Enter in the time and date of the party in PDT at the top and then select your location at the bottom and click convert. I used Seattle, Washington for the PDT location, is that correct Andrew? I am in Beijing, so for me the time will be 2:00 in the afternoon on Friday. Mark your calendars and bring your own beverage of choice!
