So, I set up my Axiom 61 transport controls to control REAPER's transport with MMC codes. It works great! The only button that I don't have working is the loop button. I can't find a MMC code for that. Does anyone know if there is one for REAPER's repeat button? Or is there a way to tell REAPER to use a certain MMC code to operate the repeat button? I know I could just use MIDI for this, but I prefer using a different protocol. The reason is that I don't want my soft synths to accidentally respond to MIDI messages. Thanks!

I don't think there is a mmc message for loop. I only found the following commands: 01 Stop 02 Play 03 Deferred Play 04 Fast Forward 05 Rewind 06 Record Strobe (Punch In) 07 Record Exit (Punch out) 08 Record Ready 09 Pause 0A Eject 0B Chase 0F MMC Reset 40 Write 44 Locate/Go to 47 Shuttle So you will have to use a MIDI cc. If the Axiom doesn't provide a second MIDI device for the controllers (my Fireone does), you could use a message like cc120 on channel 16 or something similarly unusual and just filter that on the instrument track if one of your synths happens to respond to it.

Actually, the Axiom's second USB port only works as a pass-through. Shucks.
