Adat Question!

Hey I don't know much about these machines. I am trying to play a 16 bit tape in an lx20 and can't figure out how to play back the tape at the 16 bit speed. It is playing fast. Help!

Yes I agree I've done several transfers from black face ADAT to 001 with no problem Make sure you set up the session at 48k and import the files at 24bit 48k. or 16 bit if you prefer. The speed problem occurs when you have a 44.1 session and import 48k files or vice a versa..(is that how you spell that? ) Bryan

If you have the adat hooked up digitally with ptle being the master, you have to change the clock setting in ptle(session setup window)

O.K. I fixed it, It was wierd. I had the digi 001 set to optical, but the problem didn't go away until I unplugged the adat's lightpipe in. I'm getting a hammerfall tomorrow.... Thanks for the fast advice! Keny
