Hi. I just got the Digi002, upgrading from a 16-track hard disk recorder. I have spent a couple of days trying to get midi sound. I'm trying to record a midi track using Sample Tank according to the Pro Tools instructional DVD and can't hear it. I think it's hooked up right because the signal is showing. I just can't hear anything. I did manage to hear it for a little while, but when I closed the session and reopened it, it didn't work anymore. What am I missing? Thanks. Nomi

If you are setting it up "just like the instructional video" it should work, but if you are leaving out a step, then we don't know that unless you tell us exactly what you are doing. To tell you what you might be "missing", we would need specific details about what you are doing.

Thanks for your reply. Actually I called Tech support this morning and I seem to have corrupted my version of Pro Tools in an inexplicable way. So I'm reinstalling with an additional utility they sent. Really appreciate your checking in though. I'm sure I'll be back!
