hi, i currently decided to fixup my mixing room because was quite a mess and after a RoomEQ check i didnt got a nice result (image below). What you would suggest? room is a rectangle 4x5 meters, the monitors are on the 4meters side, centered. 20cm from the wall behind them and 1.5mt from their left/right wall. A BFD Pro with EQ corrections can be enough or i have to go with panels too? Thanks! Registration have been made at 77spl at listening position with an ECM8000 (Monitors are YamahaMSP7). The registration have been made with already an 80hz cut made from the "controls" of the MSP7.

Address 140 Hz room mode with a bass trap and 280 Hz and 560 Hz might be fine as well. The dips in the high mids and treble can easily be addresses with cheapo stuff (wall behind your listening position, behind the speakers, eventually the ceiling as well at the spot where the sound gets reflected to your ears/mic). I would not spend a second to fix it with EQ.

You can treat your room with the above suggestions, and by checking the sticky. But as far as I'm concerned: Throw a few picures of naked women on the walls, and get a miniature fridge filled with beers. Your room may sound like crap, but at least you won't mind being there. :D

If you were testing with both speakers at the same time, that will account for all the dips in the top end. Try one speaker at a time. Bass traps, bass trap and more bass traps.
