Multiband compressor with pre-comp?

I love ReaXcomp, but it would be superhandy to have a pre-comp control. Is there a similar plugin (or similar approach) that could achieve that?

I could be wrong, but I think it means the compressor looks ahead and acts before the transients arrive. ie if the precomp is the same or greater than the attack, the start of a loud passage will be compressed as much as the rest of it.

Duplicate the track that you want to precomp, mute it and nudge it forward as much as you want to precomp and sidechain Reaxcomp off of that track into the actual track. Lame work around but it works.
