Would a Big Ben or other WC affect the quality of the bounce taken during a realtime internal bounce (ie no trips to analog realm)? I know it obviously affects how you moniter the mix but wondering if the created bounce is also affected. Jesse

It does not in any way affect a completely internal bounce whatsoever. However, if you have outboard gear that is in use during the bounce (external reverbs, comps, etc...), it will affect the converters...and thus the signals captured from these devices during the bounce...but anything routed entirely within the pro tools mixer will not in any way be affected by a seperate clock during bounce. Period.
