Norton Recycle Bin perhaps? Windows is reporting more space 3GB than there actually is with one of those recovering utilities. Hibernating in windows or system protection rollback stuff. To eliminate this as a possibility delete the ripped vob files and then crash recover. If that isn't the problem then might have to re-rip them.

@mrbass I think that if you uyse Norton undelete or you have it running when you start DVD2SVCD you will get a messgae at the very top of the log file. At least I think that thats what happens as I dont use Norton myself but I have seen the message on other poeples logs. :) @Icemann I dont know why you are having a problem like this. Its very weird. There are a few things that you can do yourself. If you really have to have chapters in your movies then you can see if there are two .xml files that are in the output folder. If there are then you can use VCDEasy to merge the bbMPEG_Muxed_File00.mpg and then .xml that would go with it. The bbMPEG_Muxed_File00.mpg is really the 1st CD of the movie and bbMPEG_Muxed_File01.mpg is the 2nd cd of the movie. The only thing that making them into a bin and cue does is add the chapters and also I think that it adds the change CD now pic (but I am not 100% positive about that). If you dont need the chapters you can use Nero to burn the bbMPEG.mpg files into SVCD with the SVCD template that is in Nero.

Thanks for the reply Jason. I turned off Nortons and ran DVD2SVCD again. No go. It did the same thing again. I'm going to try the other suggestions. But it will have to wait. My wife and I r going on Vaction. Laying on the beach throwing down cool ones for a few weeks. Thanks again Ice

Hi Icemann, try to defragment your hard drive before a conversion or just do a recover after having defragmented your drive - seems bbMPEG is very picky about having to grab the packets from all over the disc. Some people with this error had success in the past after a defragmentation of their drive. HTH, Gerti
