Kontakt 3 problem

Hi everybody, i have a problem with reapers piano roll and kontakt 3. I have 4 stereo outputs in Kontak,correct routed. When i play a note with my midi keyboard,i see the Signal on the Reaper meters,when i hit a note in Kontakts piano roll i see the signal on the Reaper Meters. When i go in Reapers Piano Roll and hit a note,nothing happens. I can record the Sample i play to wav.But when i paint a Note in the piano roll nothing happens :mad: Where is the failure?? Can somebody help me,please :-) regards jazzz

So the Reaper Virtual MIDI Keyboard is not working and painting in MIDI Clips do not work for you? Virtual MIDI Keyboard - check that the track input is set to MIDI Input >> All MIDI Inputs >> All channels MIDI Clips- check that the MIDI channel used for the notes corresponds to one of the MIDI channels you have selected in Kontakt. And, in the MIDI Editor, that Options >> Preview notes or Add/Edit is ticked. If these do not help, can you post your project here and screenshots of the instruments in Kontakt so we can have a look? (Put the files in a ZIP file and upload the ZIP file as an attachment to your reply) HTH

Hello DarkStar, i have checked this.Virtual Midi Keyboard is selected. Midi Clips -Preview notes or Add/Edit is ticket,nothing happens. Only my Midi Keyboard (Radium) is working. I forgot st.1 ch a1 works with reapers piano roll st.2 ch a2 doesn't work. When i route st.2 ch a2 to st1. ch a2 piano roll works (weird). Has Reaper no Velocity Faders??That is all i need. Every time you must open Kontakt,to adjust the Volume. I Load up my test project files,not before Sunday. I must work the whole Weekend. regards jazzz

Kontakt's st2 is not connected to anything? -- click the [io] button on the Reaper track, -- change the number of channels to 32 -- in Kontakt, check the Kontakt 3 Mixer, routing the MIxer channels to its output channels, -- in the FX Chain window, click the [32 out] button and check that the Kontakt output channels are connected to the track's channels. The routing in Kontakt is ok.When i hit a key,st.1+st.2..3+4 have signals in Kontakt and Reaper and the samples playing fine. But where is the 32out button in Reapers FX Chain window?? Ok solved. I had to create separatly midi tracks.Now it works. I read yout tutorial,that helps,thanks a lot :thumb: regards jazzz
