Move Items To Original Time Offset

I have a large recording session's worth of audio files recorded in REAPER for which I've lost the RPP file. I've dragged them into an empty project onto separate tracks and now I need to rebuild the session. A lifetime ago, using Cubase 5.x, I was able to to import a collection of audio events and have them automatically spot to their original recorded location on the timeline. This was a huge time saver in situations like this. I've looked through the built-in and SWS actions and found nothing that does what I need in REAPER. Any ideas (short of doing it one event at a time)?

Hi flowheimer, select the item(s) and then Menu: Item > Item processing > Move items to source preferred position (BWF) Done :-)

Aha! Many thanks! Now if only REAPER had a way of reverse-engineering the track layout based on file names! Considering the default file naming convention it shouldn't be too hard to parse the name string and rebuild the session in an automated fashion.
