Help! Won't open!

I'm guessing you're using a PC, if so... open Reaper from the Reaper.exe file (right-click, then select 'run as administrator'). Did this help? :cool:

Try holding 'shift' when you open Reaper. See if that works. If it does, you have some plugin causing the problem. Good luck.

Well, as you asked, it looks like there is something basic adrift in v5.16 (on some systems) I'm still on v5.15 ;)

5.16 working fine here. Plugged in several old projects with a bunch of VSTi and other plugs, also done a couple of new projects with zero issues. All 64 bit, Win 10 Pro. So it might be worth trying the 64bit version of Reape 5.16, assuming you are on a 64bit windows version Managed to get a crashdump yet?
