I was trying to do a dvd and when it came to use cinema craft the windows error came up which said "cinema craft encoder has caused an error and will close etc". I tried tmpeg and when that started I got "can't load p3package.dll I did a film yesterday and now it won't work on the Mean Machine the newest version.

If you haven't noticed that no one has replyed to your thread. The reason is you haven't done much reading on the rules of this site. Not only that you haven't read this thread either . Not only that but you should read this also then come back and repost in this thread the right way.

actually it would of been easyer for you 2 follow the rules and read up then for me 2 be more precise. One more thing we can't read minds, reinstalling a program when it errors out is something everyone does first thing atleast any advanced user i know. Now if that is what you did that fixed your problem... why didn't you do that before you posted? anyways i'm done responding 2 u obviously you have some kind of attitude because i could not read your mind and others on this board couldn't either.

@sparkymarky If you come here asking for help then why do you have an attitude problem? If you want help then ask nicly. If a mod tells you that you did something wrong then fix it and maybe you will get the answer that you are looking for. Did you ever think of what would happen if everybody came in here and asked for help the same way you did? No one would get anything answered. Thats why we have the stickys and the search function and then as a last resort you post a question. On top of that thats why we ask that you post your questions in a certain manner so that we dont have to ask you to read that stickys and post in that way. See it all comes together nice for you and for us. You get the answer that you want and we can help you out as long as you dont behave like an asshat.

I apologise for breaking the rules. However i really think getting a warning and possible suspension over an incorrect way of asking a question is a little over the top. The problem is now solved for now I just hope I don't have any more in case I need to ask a question again!

It's not over the top. Take a look at digital digest's forum (and many others) and you will see what we mean. There is no organization or restraint on that forum. People ask the same questions over and over, don't post intelligent questions, users never use the search function, and most of the subject lines are vague (such as "help!". The moderator's primary function is to help not police and discipline. They provide quality help and advice for FREE. Be respectful and follow their rules and guidelines. You get more help, gratitude, and respect by following the rules. If you need to ask a question, do what the stickys and forum rules say then if all else fails ask it in the proper way. You will then find out that help comes alot quicker and nicer. Good Luck and don't be a stranger. Mac

@chainsaw135 Thanks. I really appreciate it. I remember when I first came here and I had some problems. I followed the rules and then posted the questions the way that I was supposed to and got the help that I was looking for. I dont think that its that bad of a deal to have to follow a few simple rules to get all the help that people here give for free. @Mac Very well put. I dont understand why people come here and ask questions without trying a few simple things like searching and reading the stickys. It would save them some time and get the answer that they are looking for faster. Oh well :)
