Hi All of a sudden I cant play *.rx2 media files in REAPER 5.22 64bit. This just happened and I never had that problem before. This is on Win 10 and may have happened since the last win10 64bit update. REAPER is running on a i7 laptop that has a dual partition set up with Win 7 Pro on the other partition and there arent any problems playing *.rx2 media files in win 7 pro. Have a great day Ron L

The *.rx2 files will load into REAPER but show to be "offline" and wont play. Anyone else have this problem?

Ex-win 10 user here. Went back to Win 7 a few months ago due to a host of problems caused by 10. Sorry this isn't much help to you but I can confirm rex loops are working fine here on 7.

ITs just weird...REAPER played these files a few weeks ago so I was thinking that its something that can be corrected. Thanks for responding Ron L

I've had this in the past. I don't remember the cause/solution, but could be a problem with reaper_rex.dll or REX Shared Library.dll. Assuming you've done the obvious like re-install and reset your computer, try installing a portable version of Reaper and see if it solves the problem. If so, copy those 2 files from the new version to the existing one. If that doesn't do it your reaper.ini file could be the problem. Rename or backup the existing one and copy the one from the portable install. If it works, then you know the cause. You'll lose all your existing settings with the fresh .ini, but they occasionally get messed up.
