Any experiences with this company? I've been on the fence for a new DAW and this fits the bill. Its a gaming rig but I suspect will work just fine for audio.

Looks like Cyberpower's prices have come down from about a year and a half ago. I looked at them closely when considering a custom built DAW. FWIW, I went with these guys . Used to call themselves Studio Cat. Not sure if that's the case anymore. Excellent service. Friendly advice before and after the sale. Good luck to you. I researched everybody and everything. That was half the fun.

Have you looked at these, Sam? DAW specific builds by a Reaper user. He's getting my money when I am ready to upgrade.

Having just bought my PC from CyberPower, I'm thoroughly enjoying the new power. I built it up myself, and therefore don't have a configuration link to show, but it's a beast. And it was very well priced. Base specs in signature ;)

I am currently using two Cyberpower computers, a desktop and laptop. I am running Reaper on both with fantastic results. You do need to know a few things about the parts because they build gaming computers and will be of no help when it comes to DAW. My parts suggestions include: Asus mother board, W/TI chipset Intel i7 chip Nvidia Graphics card Thermaltake power supply Highest quality RAM (not budget) Additionally, use as few ad on cards as possible and use a 120GB SSD as the "C" root drive for the operating system and all programs, and then use 1TB drive(s) as data drives, (Raid multiple if needed). Your computer will be killer!!!
