Help i need to buy a code reader plug under coin thingy

Oh god i've done it again! I've bought another one this time it's a 95 GLT T5 ESTATE but it's a manual :grn-yes:but it needs a little sorting a clutch mainly,gonna do the cam belt as i cannot yet establish it's bin done or not.Also although seems to run fine but engine management light is on.So i'd be grateful if anyone can tell me mainly which code reader i need?and possibly where can i get one so i can reset light etc etc.It's got the socket under the coin box by the gear stick it's a late 95.Cheers :thumbs_up:

i have 3 from ebay none of them actually work as although the car has an obd11 port it is generally not compliant you need to make up a flash code reader or take it to a dealer

I would definitely be interested in one not being the most electronically minded.

I was looking at making one myself but it's one of those things I never quite get round to, I'd happily buy one off you Jod. Would it be able to read the climate control codes? I've got an intermittant warning code and I'd like to track it down. Cheers, John
